Another long day. I haven't been able to blog as much as I've wanted to. My computer is having issues. I can only have it on for a short bit before... well, issues. I need a new power supply. One should be on it's way to me tomorrow. I'm going up to 450 Watts. If that's not enough, there's the big 550 just around the corner.
My next computer will start at 600 Watts. Why? My next computer will be... well, ever seen Tron? There will be a lot of stuff inside, hardware and modding. The mods will include several lights, both UV and neon. There will be several windows. And there's going to be a few things I haven't thought of. So 600 sounds safe right now.
I'm still waiting for the 2004 Novel & Short Story Writer's Market to be released. I may need to check and see if I had the right release date on that one. I swear I read October. The month isn't over yet. There's still Halloween to look forward to.
I was at my friend's tonight. I read a little note from their children's school. They're not allowed to celebrate Halloween at their school. I had to bit my tongue and not say things in front of their kids. But that really sucks. This is all thanks to right-wing Christians. These same folks fear Harry Potter will send little boys and girls to Hell. Majority rules right? If 51 people out of 100 are Christians, then no Halloween and only Christmas for you, right? There's also no Hanukkah celebration either. No Wiccans. No Muslims. No Jews. Pick up that cross, boy and join the ranks or get pushed down beneath our feet. Don't you know the pledge of allegiance? Don't you read our money, our golden calf?
