The street seems busy tonight even for a Friday. On the way home, I saw a few different vehicles pulling into driveways that I usually don't see anybody pulling into.

I was over at friend's tonight. I took my guitar and amp over. We didn't get to play much together, not enough to my liking. But there were other things going on. I love the way we sound together. My friend used to have a Peavey Wolfgang. At first, this was an amazing guitar. Then it became evident that it's a one trick pony. You can do tricks on it, but there is no soul, no feeling, nothing human in it. Now he has a Jimmie Vaughan Strat, which sounds great. And I really do think we sound good together. Our guitars sound like family members. We need to play more.

I haven't got around to downloading Mandrake 9.2 yet. I need to do that real soon. I'm thinking of reinstalling a clean version of XP but have nothing in it except the things I need to play games in it. When I reinstall anything M$, it nukes my bootsector, and I have go behind it and load Lilo. Lilo is a boot loader that lets me choose XP, Win 98, or Linux. M$ doesn't like it when you use more than one OS, even if they are M$'s.

Lilo needs to be more graphical. M$, as much as I hate it, does have something going for it's "Loading Screen." It needs to be in a higher color depth and changeable naturally in XP. You need extra software to change it. And when M$ does a big update, you can accidentally render you computer unbootable, which I've done. But I wouldn't mind Lilo moving toward a more graphical menu.

In Seven days... My favorite holiday. Then there's November Coming Fire... My birthday. I was born November 4th. Yesterday, my mother once again reminded me of my due date. She had to have a C-Section with me. I was due on October 31st.
