Three times...
I was doing some maintenance in XP, defraging and what not. I was moving a large file, 700 + megs, to a different drive. Three times XP gave me a blue screen. Uh oh! I thought the Blue Screen of Death was gone. Nope.
Though, since I've gotten the new power supply, I haven't had any freeze ups. I'm sure I will, but things do seem better. I'm back to the normal things that mess my system up such as moving large files. XP or any M$ OS seems to take forever. I'm in Linux now. As I type this, Linux is moving the file. I just checked, it's done. It took less than a minute.
I'm listening to the Icewind Dale soundtrack. I bought the special edition of Icewind Dale that included the first game, the second game, Icewind Dale II, the expansion pack, Hearts of Winter, a bonus CD with extra files and guides to Icewind Dale and Hearts of Winter, and the soundtrack. I am very pleased with the quality of the soundtrack. It is not just game music. It's the score written for the game performed by an orchestra. Classical music has a large section in my music collection. Soundscores are a part of that. Game music, for the most part, isn't. Maybe I should rethink that. Some of the best stories I've come across have been in games. I've seen some great art in games. Music comes along as well.
