I had a horrible night and morning of horrid dreams. No, I didn't have dreams of something chasing me and dark things. Those are rare. I just dreamt of people and places and times over and over. It's like there's this whole other world somewhere that I'm a part of, and that I only get to see it at brief times during dreams. There's people I know very well or seem to know very well in my dreams. And there's usually a woman. And sometimes there's a child, mine. Last night there was both. I can never remember their names when I wake up. Never.

And the places are here but they're not here at this time. I don't know what time they are. Some things look like they did ten years ago, but some things look like they're ten years in the future. There's plenty of stuff I'd never own sitting around. And I bet all of it was expensive.

But I'll wake up still feeling what every I was feeling in the dreams, which makes mornings rough and the day usually follows the same way for a while.

Well, at least I'm not dreaming of snakes in water chasing me. That was a nightmare once. It could be worse. It could be Republicans chasing me in water. They'd probably be shouting how I'd have to pay for any water damage to my house because under their new plan, everything is an act of God so the insurance companies don't have to pay. That's kind of like our President now. He sees everything that he does as an act of God. Just ask him. He'll grin and shrug then grin some more.
