I have just ordered a copy of my short story collection, FROM A HOLE IN THE SKY, from CafePress. This is very weird. I want to get a copy in my hands, check it out, make sure the fonts look right, the covers look right, before I set up a page for it, sell it on my site. Hopefully, everything is okay. But I won't know for sure until I see one.
There's a good thing about print on demand, which is what my book is. I can make changes almost instantly. As mistakes are found, I'll change them and upload a corrected book. This seems to work well for Linux distros, and I think it'll work well for me.
As soon as I get a copy and see if it's okay, I'll set up a page for it on my site. I'll then begin promoting. I'll to send it off to places for reviews and all that stuff. That's going to be fun and completely shameless. Joy.
