It has been a long two days.

I have a friend who tried the Atkins Diet. He couldn't shit for awhile.

Last night I heard "It's About Time" by Van Halen. I've been listening to it off and on. It's new. New as in, "Is that really Van Halen? Is that really Sammy singing?" Nice things are on the way. The song really does mix Dave Van Halen and Sammy Van Halen, musically that is. The lyrics are all Sammy. The song is heavier than I expected, which makes Van Halen III look worse and worse.

I've been editing HAUNTED. Things haven't been as bad as I thought they might be, and things are moving along nicely. Hopefully, they'll keep moving along nicely. Things happen for reasons. This time around, a prologue and epilogue showed right up. It's weird, they're not exactly part of the main story, just the befores and afters. They will add a lot, but not really affect the storyline, just the mood entering and leaving. I like that a lot.

Lynx is a neat thing. Lynx is "a general purpose distributed information browser for the World Wide Web." It is a command line web browser (think DOS prompt for you M$ folk). When you view a webpage with lynx, you're just getting colored text. There are no pictures, graphs, and from what I can tell, tables. Webpages are streamlined by the little app. I'm amazed at how this reduced the webpages down to what you're there to see in the first place. It takes the distractions away. Neat. This is just another thing I've discovered in the new Mandrake Linux 10 Official. Simply neat.
