I write the truth. I just phrase it in fiction.
I just finished editing chapter 8 of HAUNTED and began on chapter 9. After that, there's chapter 10 to edit, and a prologue and an epilogue to write. I'm waiting until I finished with the chapters before the prologue and epilogue. Yes, the prologue may be the last thing written.
It is still raining. Everything is so damn damp. Mud, by itself, is very depressing. Mud is like sorrow. As you move through it, you get stuck. At least in winter, it'd be ice. Ice is destructive and evil, but it's not depressing. Neither is snow, but that's rare here. For some reason, I think maybe this is the year snow comes back to say hello. We'll see.
