So Ashlee Simpson didn't sing live on Saturday Night Live? That was the news this morning. It was probably the news yesterday. I just didn't notice.
She came out, and the band started playing. Then everybody heard her vocals for the first song that they had played. She looked confused, danced around a bit with the microphone at her side, and then walked off stage. The band played on, and SNL cut a commercial.
Ashlee blames the band, and the record company blames a computer glitch. If she lip-synchs or uses a vocal track to sing to that'll make her vocals stronger, how is it the band's fault that the wrong one was played? Singers should be responsible for their vocals, live or pre-recorded. If I were the band, I wouldn't let her blame the me. That's very disrespectful of the band.
Even if she does lip-synch, Ashlee Simpson is still the talented one in the family. Her sister's pop-corn music's popularity is a mystery to me just like how people can think she's hot. She's got goggle eyes that are too far apart, a manly chin, and a horse nose second only to that girl on Sex in the City (who finally got her nose fixed).
Life goes on. I'm recovering slowly from sickness. Last night I watched Carnival of Souls, 1962. The dead are spooky in that movie. And there isn't anything wrong with spooky dead... well, unless their band messes up their lip-synching.
