Still sick. Oh joy. Last night I heard some of the worst music I've heard in a long time, Superjoint Ritual. I watched a little of their live DVD, and even though it was a little, it was way too much.

Everybody in the band who talked on camera seemed stoned and drunk. Phil Anselmo himself seemed so hazed that he could just lean back and slip from this world.

I believe that Superjoint Ritual should be sued by everybody that can sue. I think the former members of Pantera should sue to get Phil Anselmo to change his name. If people find out Phil is in Superjoint Ritual, then it will hurt Pantera's legacy. It is a small but good legacy. They had about three good albums. I believe the guys on Corrosion of Conformity should sue one of the guitar players in Superjoint Ritual, something Bower. I can't remember his first name. He played drums for Corrosion of Conformity and was pretty good. Now he plays guitar in Superjoint Ritual and is awful. Again, I think if people find out that Bower was in Corrosion of Conformity, it'll hurt them. And they're still together. And finally, Hank Williams, III plays bass for Superjoint Ritual. Take a guess. I believe the estate of Hank Williams, Sr should sue, and his family should disown Hank Williams, III. Not only that, but I pray that Hank Williams, Sr rises from the dead to pull all of his grandson's fingers off his hands.

Now, if you like Superjoint Ritual, I'm sorry, but there is something medically wrong with you. They're not heavy. They're just fast without any rhythm or groove. The vocals are fast, harsh, and completely unintelligible. Maybe if I could have understood what Phil was saying, I might have been able to tell if he had written some interesting lyrics. Even if he did, they're wasted because nobody can tell what he's saying.

I like heavy music. I like fast music. But I just don't like Superjoint Ritual and can't understand why others would. Maybe it's because I'm not a satanic pothead. Maybe that's it.
