Did you know that Arturo Gatti is a pretty good fighter? You should.

I've spent all day feeling kind of sick. Last night I spent several hours in a smoky bar. My friend's band was playing there. Thank goodness they played first. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those folks who wants smoking banned from bars. Bars are for smoking and drinking. But that doesn't mean I can't complain about having a sore throat the next day.

As for the band, they did better than I thought they would. But they have a lot of work ahead of them. I hope they're up for it. It takes a lot to make it these days. And by make it, I don't necessarily mean fortune and fame. I mean good music.

At the show, there was one dumb-us who put on a clown mask with blonde dreadlocks and danced himself into some pseudo-lsd frenzy. I hate idiots like that. If you want to do something like that, take the mask, go outside, put it on, and run head first into a telephone pole. Do that as many times as you can.

It was cold and miserable yesterday. It was cold and miserable today. And it'll probably be cold and miserable tomorrow. And it's been raining. There's nothing like slightly icy weather that makes you want to take to the streets and drive around in reverse.
