I love live TV and news events. Though, some of them aren't exactly "events."
Over the weekend, jh2media finished a redesign of Hopeful Sinner, a fansite for artist and musician Charlie Terrell. We worked very hard the last few weeks designing and building the site. Personally, I couldn't wait to get it out there for people to see. The site design is based on silent films, which I love. In fact, the message board theme is named Thea after Thea Von Harbou, writer of Metropolis. Thea was also married to Fritz Lang, director of Metropolis. So go check out Hopeful Sinner and then go watch Metropolis, the restored Kino version.
Today I have some scenes to write for W. T. for Short, the screenplay. I'm eager to get that done, but I'm also patient because this is a learning experience. After W. T. for Short, I'm going to start working on a horror movie. I honestly believe I can make a scary movie, and I'm not just talking about setting something in Wal-mart. It has been a long time since I watched a scary movie. The last movie that made me jump was Dead Birds, and that movie had a little scary tension in it. But I want something with that dread tension that just makes it difficult to watch because of fear(see Alien and The Exorcist). But before I do that, I have to spend time with Terrance White and his folly.
