Last night I printed, on my dying ten year old printer, a copy of "W. T. for Short," the screenplay. There will be a few days of heavy editing, and hopefully, that'll be that.
This is my first screenplay. There are a lot of personal reasons why I decided to attempt one. While I still don't understand all the mechanics that go into a screenplay, I think I got the jist of it and did pretty well.
As for the content of the screenplay... I don't know if that's any good or not. It certainly doesn't exactly follow the story structure of an average movie. But that's okay to me. I'm not into average movies. I've learned enough from this to start writing horror movies, which is partly the reason for why I wrote the screenplay. In fact, I hope to start next week on a horror movie because I'm hoping that I have indeed learned how to fish.
I'm going to go edit now.
