I think it's time to redesign this site. I have been working on a design idea this week that I think I really like. I'd love to show you a sample or screenshot, but I'm not. Besides, it's not really a finished thought yet, but it's getting there.

I'm thinking about starting my own paranormal investigation group. Why? Because orbs are not ghosts. A while back, I tried to find a group in Alabama. The very few that I could find, seemed... well, not as serious as I would like them to be or probably not focused on things that I would like to investigate. And each and every site I found had an entire page or more devoted to orbs. Once again, orbs are not ghosts.
If anybody is interested in any kind of Central Alabama paranormal investigation group (basically ghost hunters), email me. I would like to focus on evps, video, photos, history, and real-life interaction. I do not want anything to do with psychics or exorcists. I want to find hard evidence. And once again, orbs are not ghosts. Sunday, April 23, 2006

I just stopped playing the Tomb Raider Legend demo for the PC. I had already gone through the demo and had started over going through it again. The game looks amazing even on my computer which is not setup to play high end video games. I would love to see what it looks like on a machine that is set up for new games.
The whole time I was playing the demo, I kept thinking back to the first time I played Tomb Raider, which was a demo and on a computer. My memory isn't what is used to be, but the computer could have been my very first computer, a 386 Packard Bell with 20 megs of RAM (it came with 4, and I added two 8 meg sticks). Of course, the next time I played Tomb Raider was on the Playstation. And of course, I was hooked. I freaking loved Tomb Raider. It used to scare the crap out of me with wolves and bears and high places. I own every Tomb Raider on the Playstation. I do not own that first Tomb Raider game for the Playstation 2. I won't mention that game again. A side from looking amazing, Tomb Raider Legend felt good. I was able to run and jump and move about like I wanted to. Well, nearly like I wanted to. In the other Tomb Raider games, you could grab a hold of a lot of edges that wouldn't help you get anywhere. In the demo, Legend only seems to let you grab things if you're supposed to. The movement is nearly perfect. You do not feel like you're moving in a grid like the other games. I would have liked to grab a few places and see if I can get somewhere. Part of the fun of the other Tomb Raiders was climbing up on something you're not supposed to be and then getting hurt as you get down. The puzzles I encountered in the demo were smart. In two of them, I came upon some crates and thought, "Ah, crates. My old friend." I then assumed, both times, that I knew exactly what to do. But I didn't. I had to think, which was good. I have no idea if the rest of the game is like this. I really didn't get far enough into the game to truly know. I have heard some negative things about the game. For one, it doesn't feel like anything new. I don't really consider that a bad thing. I love WWII games. There will never be another WWII game that'll feel new. A game sometimes doesn't have to feel new; it just has to be good. Another negative thing about Legend is that it's too short. That one is a bad thing for me. I remember the other Tomb Raider games were long, and I spent my time exploring and finding places. A few weeks ago, I bought a used copy of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for the PS2. It's a short game but also a wonderful game. I knew it was going to be short. I also didn't pay full price for it. Legend, to me, a person with not a lot of money, can't justify paying full price for a really short game, no matter how fun it is. Now, if the demo made me feel like I was playing the first Tomb Raider, I would pay full price. It didn't. Though, it did make me feel like I was playing a good game. Eventually, the game will be used and cheap somewhere. I probably won't hesitate to pick up a copy. Did I mention that if you get Lara wet in the game, she'll stay wet for a long time, and if you leave her alone, she'll shake the water from her boots? Friday, April 14, 2006
I'm thinking about petitioning the Catholic Church to declare that I'm possessed. That way I can have several birthdays a year. And that means more cake.

... go get gas. Go Get Gas. G G G... 666. I think I figured something out. 6o 6et 6as.
I had to get gas today. It's more expensive now. Gas prices have gone up in Alabama again. It won't be much longer before I can't afford to drive to the gas station. You know what we need? Lawyers, guns, and money. They'll get us out of this. Or maybe all the illegal aliens who have been marching for more than a week can help us. Somebody needs to ask them how to lower gas prices. I bet nobody would be upset about Iraq is there was really as much oil there as W and his fellows had thought. I saw W on TV today trying to justify the leaking/releasing of classified information. He said he couldn't comment on an ongoing investigation and then commented on it. He said after the "liberation of Iraq" -- he actually said "liberation" -- that there was some questions about the reasons why we went to war. So he decided to release the classified information so that people could see the truth. I have problems with that. First off, let's look at the information that was classified. It said that Iraq had tried to buy stuff to build a nuclear bomb. That information has turned out to be false. This is the same information that Cheney used when he said that Iraq was trying to buying stuff to build a nuclear bomb. He said, "pretty well confirmed." Later, when asked about saying, "pretty well confirmed," he said he never said that. By now, surely, you've seen the Meet The Press video clip of him saying, "pretty well confirmed." Okay, so the classified information was released so that people could see the truth as to why we went to war, but the classified information turned out to be false. Second, where does Valerie Plane come into all of this? She's the undercover CIA agent who was outed by Scooter Libby, Cheney's go-to-guy, Cheney's Cheney. Scooter Libby put Valerie Plane's life in danger and all the other undercover agents that she was connected to, both ours and all the foreign agents that she worked with. Scooter Libby says that Cheney said Bush said to leak the information. Which information? The untrue classified information or Valerie Plane's name? And how odd that Joe Wilson, Valerie Plane's husband, was the one who questioned the information about Iraq trying to buy stuff to make a nuclear bomb. Bush, sadly, is protected by the constitution and can release or declassify information any time he wishes for what ever reason. Cheney on the other hand may or may not be able to do that. There's some debate if he has constitutional power to do so. And if Scooter was acting on Cheney's orders or W's, then he can't be held accountable for leaking the information either. However, he is in trouble for lying about it to investigators. Naughty boy. You should have told the truth in the first place. Anybody remember when W said that if anybody was involved with the leaking of classified information that they would be out of a job? He said he was real interested in finding out who leaked the information. Well, he did. He released it to show the people the truth. He said that today. Libby says that Cheney said that Bush said to leak the information. But don't worry. There will never be a chance for either the President or Cheney to answer publicly to this. They'll never answer a direct question ever. Why? They can hide behind, "...there's an ongoing investigation so I can't comment." W and his fellows will keep their mouth shut on this one, and over time, it'll be accepted. It won't fade, but the American people will just learn to live with it like we're having to learn to live with everything else W's Administration has ever done. So far, with them pretending that they've never done anything wrong and that all is right with the world and Iraq, 36% of American still buy their lies. I'll bet that W's administration is waiting on something big to fix all the problems. What could that be? Osama's head for one. They bring out his head on a stick, and W's approval rating hit's 49%. If W can get gas prices to go down, W will hit 56%. That's all it takes. Two things. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have Osama's head on ice just waiting for election day. U.S. Tries to Dampen Talk of Iran Strike - Forbes.com
How do you get people to stop thinking about all the lies about Iraq, gas prices, the White House purposely leaking the name of a CIA agent for political reasons and to help sell a war, civil war in Iraq, the deaths of US and foreign soldiers in Iraq, global warning, Katrina, privacy concerns, hostages, and "Mission Accomplished"? You start another war. Soon, in the next few weeks, W is going to come out and basically say, "They're going to get you if we don't get them first." But he won't be able to explain who "they" are at first. And when he does, he'll start the bombing. Then there will be six months of confusion. After that, we'll slowly start to learn that "they" weren't in the place W bombed. But don't worry. In just three months after we learn that truth, "they" will really be in the place W just bombed having moved in when all the locals are liberated. It honestly is starting to look like "they" hire W to do some heavy demolition so that "they" can come in and build a house on flat and level land with absolutely no taxes to pay. New York Daily News - 'Gospel' truth: Judas obeyed Jesus' orders
The New York Daily News has a story on The National Geographic Society unveiling a newly reconstructed and translated gospel, The Gospel of Judas. Tuesday, April 04, 2006
Right before bed last night, I realized that I had not eaten dinner. Considering how much I love food, that was an interesting realization. I went on to bed and did not make up for the lost meal. I may do that today, though.
Yesterday I bought some gas and got super pissed. Friday, I purchased gas and paid $2.48 for Premium gas. My car has to have Premium or it doesn't move. Yesterday, Monday, I paid $2.75 for Premium. You have to pre-pay at this gas station, and I had already pre-paid before I noticed how much gas was. I'm sure it's just as expensive up the road and down the road. But I would have loved a chance to find out. What's wrong with America? That's a grand question isn't it? Is it unpatriotic? I love America. I really do. But we do have problems, and one of which is really getting to me. Oil companies make billions of dollars in profit during quarters. That's three months, not the entire year. Billions of dollars. Some only make 9 billion dollars of profit. Some make 14 billions of dollars of profit. This is after they've paid for the oil, its shipping, and processing. When I hear how much profit these companies make, my blood boils with frustration at America. Why are we taking this? Why aren't we protesting? And judging by the recent protest over illegal aliens, protests and marches are easily formed; even high school students can manage them. So why isn't America protesting the oil companies? Are we distracted? Do we even care anymore? We're America. We shouldn't be taking this crap. Protests can't last forever. And boycotts usually don't work. So somebody needs to come up with a plan. I thought about at the next election that nobody would vote for anybody unless they promised to fix the oil industry. But then it dawned on me that if nobody voted, several hundred oil company executives would vote and put another "Bush" in the White House. So not voting is a bad idea. But how do we get a politician who will fix the oil industry? I have no idea. Maybe a democrat will figure out that this is what he needs to run on. We all know "I'm not Bush" will be the main slogan, but if he could work the oil industry into his campaign, he might get my vote. Sunday, April 02, 2006
